The ancient Egyptians strove to maintain harmony and balance, or Ma'at, in all things, and their calendar reflected the sacred cycle to help those of us with our feet on earth prosper alongside the divine will of the gods.

 

In days that seem distant to us now, life was ruled by the changing of seasons and the flooding of the Nile. The calendar they used flowed in unison with the very same forces!
